Physical Distancing, masking and sanitizing protocols in place when required or advised by authorities.

Guests must follow the guidelines set forth by Alabaster Acres staff upon arrival to ensure the safety

of all parties involved - the guests, the goats and our staff.

Children must be fully supervised by an adult (18+) at all times, while at Alabaster Acres.

​

There is a maximum ratio of 2 children (aged 5-10) to 1 adult (18+).​ Infants and toddlers

(under 5 years) need 1-on-1 direct supervision from a dedicated adult (18+).

Guests must wear closed-toe shoes or boots.

High heels are not recommended.

Pets of any kind are not permitted ~ please leave them at home.

​

Goats are curious creatures and will nibble on just about anything to see what it tastes like.

Do not offer your fingers to or put them near or in a goat's mouth or they will naturally nibble on them. 

Sometimes goats get excited and will jump up on you to say hello.

If you lay down or crouch down, a goat will naturally climb on top of you.

Please be mindful of these behaviours for the safety of you and your children.

Please dress for the environment and the weather as this is an outdoor experience

and we run our sessions snow, rain or shine.

Alabaster Acres is a working farm.

The animals living here are very socialized but they are not trained

and will do as animals do: whatever they please.

There will be anywhere from 3-15 goats present, depending on session size. 

Do not expect anything specific from the goats other than cuteness and goat noises;

but they may just surprise you with their comical behaviour!

 I realize and fully understand that visiting a farm carries a certain amount of risk

and that the behaviour of any animal is unpredictable.

Our goats love people in general but there is always a possibility of a fall or injury, whether from an

animal or not, that could cause serious bodily harm, injury or even death.

 I will not hold Alabaster Acres responsible for the behaviour or action(s) of any animal on the property.

Me and my guests and/or family members are participating in this experience at our own risk.

I will not hold Alabaster Acres, AFS Inc., AFS Consulting, the Alabaster Family, or any of their employees,

associates or volunteers responsible for any injury or damage to any person, animal or property whatsoever.

Alabaster Acres reserves the right to cancel sessions for any reason.

Of course, if we must cancel your session, you will be issued a full refund.
